Luyuan Bai


Luyuan Bai is lecturer and postdoc researcher the Southwest University of Political Science and Law (China). She obtained her PhD at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Crime, Security and Law & University of Freiburg (Germany). During doctoral study, her research topic was legal measures of counterterrorism from a comparative perspective, with a special emphasis on the phenomenon of Foreign Terrorist Fighters. Now she is more focused on crime governance, especially the boundary between criminal and administrative law and the additional consequences of criminal punishment and criminal record. She is author of numerous publications related to terrorist crimes, corruption crimes and transnational crimes.
